Directions

From the North:

Travelling south on the M1, leave the motorway at junction 25. Take the fourth exit A52 Derby for approximately 5 miles before bearing left onto the ring road A5111. Turn right at the first traffic island, left at the next (Alvaston) and right at the third (Blue Peter Pub). At the next island (Spider bridge) carry on straight, turning left at the next light. This brings you down Moor Lane to the T junction with victory road and the Rolls-Royce sites.

From the East:

Pick up the A52 as described in directions from the North.

Travelling North on the M1 exit at junction 24 onto the A50, Derby. Follow signs to Derby taking the A6 until it meets the A5111 ring road. Turn left at this island (Blue Peter Pub). At the next island (Spider bridge) carry on straight, turning left at the next light. This brings you down Moor Lane to the T junction with victory road and the Rolls-Royce sites.

Take the A38 until you reach the roundabout, turn right onto the ring road A5111.

Count two roundabouts (McDonald's on the second one). Then turn right at the lights (Victory road) Follow this down until you reach Moor Lane on the left.

At the Rolls-Royce Site:

At the Moor lane / Victory road T junction turn left. Then turn immediately left past the statue of Sir Henry Royce. Follow the road around this building until you can see the circular car parks on your right. Park your cars here and the changing rooms are in the circular pavilion.

The other entry off Merrill Way is normally locked at weekends

For those using GPS the post code of the bank on the corner of Moor lane and Victory road (T junction described above) is DE24 9HX

Is back at the main Leisure Association buildings. Proceed back up Moor Lane and take the first left after the sports fields into the Leisure Association. Rolls-Royce RFC are based in the wooden building to the rear of the main building.
