Rolls-Royce RFC is a friendly, community based club playing on the Rolls-Royce Derby site.  Membership is open to everyone, not just Rolls-Royce employees (half of the current squad work elsewhere).

The club runs two sides every weekend along with a vets team who tell us all how much better it was in their day.   The 1^st XV play league rugby in Midlands 5 East (N), whilst the 2^nd XV play a number of friendlies against local sides.  Both teams feature prominently in their respective cup competitions with the 1^st XV winning the Derbyshire Shield last season.

All standards are welcome – the 1^st XV won promotion last year and was recognised both as ‘Team of the Month’ in Rugby World Magazine’s January issue and won the RFU ‘Touchline’ magazine’s ‘Bollinger Celebration of the Month’, whilst many members of the 2^nd XV had barely played rugby since school or were complete beginners on joining the club.

Tours take place all over the world – Malaysia, Majorca Paris and Oktoberfest have all been the subject of recent RRRFC damage.  Regular social events run throughout the season to maintain club spirit. Including home and away matches to both British airways and Bristol Aero.

If you are interested in rugby and would like to help in a non-playing capacity, for example physiotherapy, refereeing or cheerleading then please get in touch. You will need to bring your own pompoms.
